I wanted to thank Tomi Ungerer for agreeing to the interview. He recorded the interview while home in Ireland, and I'm so grateful he took the time to answer. If you haven't read it yet, it starts here and goes for three posts. And if you are lucky enough to live where the movie about his life is playing, make sure and get out to see it... Far Out Isn't Far Enough. It's genius!
In case you were wondering, the winner of Fog Island is Tera! (Email me your info at webe(at)soon(dot)com and congrats!)

Thanks so much for your Ungerer interview and info. I hadn't checked your blog in a bit and was kind of blown away to find all of this. I am a big fan. His Sorcerer's Apprentice is one of my all-time favorite books from my childhood. Big big thanks for what you do!
What a GREAT blog!
I am wondering if you and you readers can help me. When my son was young we read a book to him just before bedtime. I can't remember the title. It end with "And, what do we do when this book is read? That's right dear children; we go to bed."
We somehow lost rack of this book in one of our many moves. If I could remember the title I would set out on a quest to repurchase it.
It may be very old. My son is now 32 and we bought our books at thrift shops and yard sale.
Thanking you and your readers in advance. I'll watch the blog for clues.
Sincerely,
Sandy Stauffer
