Almost always, someone knows it. Seriously, the people on the children's book forum are geniuses with a wealth of knowledge so vast, it puts all of us wannabes to shame.
It's also fun to peruse the posts and come up with a title someone is searching for. I always feel proud when I log on there and am actually able to name the book someone is describing.
It's the little things...
Loganberry Books also has a Stump the Bookseller section that is really fun to sift through.
Hope this info helps someone reunite with a long lost love...

I have to say - your shelves look like mine! Once, I was at a garage sale and picked up several books, knowing I would like the illustrations by just the covers, but not really paying attention to what they were. Later I realized one of them (Humpty Dumpty's Bedtime Stories - illustrated by Kelly Oechsli) was a book from my childhood that I had vaguely remember, but just could not figure out what it was called. I was SO excited, and oh, the nostalgia! :) I love that feeling!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes spend (way too much) time answering things on that site!
ReplyDeleteDo you know I went to that site and asked about a book that I've been wondering about for over twenty years or so? And they answered back within a day WITH THE BOOK? So exciting! Thank you for the link --
