To be entered to win these almost-brand-spanking-new paperbacks, please comment on this post between now and Sunday, October 23 at 11:49 PM. ReplyDeleteLove love love Lobel's early readers. (And my just-started-reading son and daughter agree!)
ReplyDeleteAs always, thanks for the chance at these great books.
ReplyDeleteI love Arnold Lobel and these are 2 books that I do not have in my collection.
ReplyDeleteI deeply desire the Owl At Home, Maybe this time will be my time. you already know I love your blog so I won't butter that bread any further.
ReplyDeleteWe just finished reading "Old Black Witch!", which is one of my daughter's all time favorites, AND which I discovered from your blog. Thank you!

ReplyDeletesuper cute books and super-lovely Lobel!!
ReplyDeleteThey like awesome!!
ReplyDeleteThose look like great early readers for my first grader!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE Small Pig (I want to dress like the farmer's wife) but don't have Owl at Home. If we win we will keep Owl and donate Pig to our 1st grade classroom.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have those in my hands! love the characters!
ReplyDeleteWe love Lobel and don't have these. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLittle one coming in March and we're doing a Children's Lit theme. Would love to add these to the room!
ReplyDeleteOkay. Small Pig is a good Lobel, and Uncle Elephant is the BEST Lobel, and Frog and Toad are beloved unto me.
ReplyDeleteBut dude. Owl at home SU-HUCKS. That weird old owl is an insane old shut-in and the whole tome makes me claustrophobic. He needs a best friend.
Just my unsolicited opinion, of course.
We would love to welcome Pig and Owl to our bookshelf family, if they'd like to come live with us:)
ReplyDeleteNo way, Madfoot, when Owl lets winter in.... that is totally awesome! The whole book I find mildly spooky. I love shut-ins! Uncle Elephant is the best, though. You're right about that. ;)
ReplyDeleteArnold Lobel is a personal favorite of mine. These two books look really cute and I would love to win them. Thanks for another great giveaway opportunity. Your blog is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOoohhh...would love to win these for my girls.

Owl at Home is one of my all-time favorites. Hilarious! I already have it but if it helps to pull on your heartstrings, I would donate both to the new library I work at that has very few early readers in it, and no Lobel at all!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love these books, but so far we've only borrowed them from the library.
ReplyDeleteThese look adorable. I'm all in.
ReplyDeleteI remember Small Pig!!
