Here comes Peter Cottontail. Hoppin' down the bunny trail!
Thought in celebration of the season I'd dust off a must-have classic. I Am A Bunny by Ole Risom with pictures by Richard Scarry, updated from my original post in 2007.
Enjoy and have a great one!

Thanks for the recommendation! My son loves rhymes so this would be a great book for him! Happy Easter!

I have many happy memories of reading Richard Scary books to my son. He adored Lowly Worm and Mr. Paint Pig and the whole gang. The books had so much information on each page, but that intrigued my little guy. We would spend so much time looking and talking.
ReplyDeleteI have such a soft spot for books that were my kids favorites.
WE love this book, my sister had a whole collection of these tall books... sometimes when we visit her now she lets us read them... fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet you knew this but I didn't ... Also by this author is "I am a Kitten" (but not illustrated by Scarry). I was happy to discover it while visiting family for the holiday. I had to promise my mother-in-law I wouldn't steal all her books (though the rule now is that if it has my husband's name in it, it can come home with us HA)
