Late Great Monday Give: In a People House

So... a very happy and belated Great Monday Give to you all. Better late than never.

To thank you guys for being here for Roy McKie week, I wanted to offer up a copy of his book (penned by the good doctor) In A People House.

All you have to do to be entered to win is comment on this post between now and Sunday the ninth at 11:59 PM. A winner will be selected at random and announced the next day.

Be sure and check back because I do not contact winners... they must come to me! With a late entry like this, there's a good chance you'll win, too. Yes, I am talking to YOU. Good luck to all!

  7. What a great tribute! I wasn't aware of all that McKie accomplished, though I've always enjoyed his work. Now I'll look at it with fresh eyes.

  19. I'm a new follower to your blog (having followed a link on Snow, if I recall) and I've been enjoying this series on Roy McKie. We received Ten Apples on Top from a friend of my husband's who was an elementary school teacher in a former life. I'm looking forward to discovering more of Roy's books.

  23. I was looking for inspiration for my art, love children's vintage books and have a small collection, and just happened on this blog by way of Google today. I enjoyed reading about Roy McKie. I've bookmarked this site and it will be a part of my daily reads. Thanks so much for your generosity!

  24. Just got here via a link for 'king of mice', which was the result of a dinner party conversation I wasn't even a part of! I love it when things like that happen. I found 'The King, The Mice and The Cheese' which was one of my favourite books as a kid in the US. Now that I live in the UK, I'm so glad I found this blog, as I'd love to find as many of these books as I can, to rebuild my childhood library for our future-family-planning. I remember nearly all the ones I've scrolled through so far. Can't wait to see more of this site! And of course, I'd love In A People House.

    Cheers
    Chella
