Great Monday Give: Sam and Emma

The only thing you can do on a morning like this morning... a morning where there is sadness... a morning where political ugliness has reached a crescendo (and hopefully an end) in this great country of ours... is talk about something uplifting. Sitting and waiting on the Caldecott winners and good old Edward Gorey seems like a good place to start to me.

The Great Monday Give today is a copy of the Gorey illustrated children's book, Sam and Emma. All you have to do to be entered to win this treasure is comment on this post before Sunday the 16th at 11:59 PM. A winner will be selected at random and announced the next day.

So without further yuck yuck, I'm sending love to Arizona and moving on with Monday...

Oh yeah... I almost forgot. The winner of In a People House is Frog's Mom. E-mail me at webe(at)soon(dot)come with your info. Congrats!
