Vintage Kids' Books My Kid Loves PSA
The Great Holiday Give: Just a reminder, if you haven't commented on The Great Holiday Give posts and entered to win, you still have until midnight tonight to get your name in for all five prizes!
The Etsy Shop: I keep an Etsy store where I turnover all the books we grow out, upgrade or have doubles of. I've been lax of late culling the masses, but I was busy all weekend getting things up and will continue to post there daily leading up to Christmas. To celebrate, between now and Thanksgiving, I am offering a flat rate shipping of $3.00 to anywhere in the Continental US.
Current highlights in the shop include:
Lucille by Arnold Lobel: Reviewed here. Sold here.
Angus and the Cat by Marjorie Flack: Reviewed here. Sold here.
This is the House Where Jack Lives by Aliki: Reviewed here. Sold here.
Maggie and the Pirate by Ezra Jack Keats: Reviewed here. Sold here.
Moon Jumpers by Janice May Udry and Maurice Sendak: Reviewed here. Sold here.
In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak: Reviewed here. Sold here.
The Man Who Didn't Wash His Dishes by Barbara Cooney: Reviewed here. Sold here.
My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes by Eve Sutton: Reviewed here. Sold here.
Little Monster at Work by Mercer Mayer: Reviewed here. Sold here.
Amazon: While I wholeheartedly endorse shopping your local thrift shops, book stores and yard sales to find the treasures I highlight here, a few years back I chose to link titles through Amazon because so many great used booksellers sell there, and my site gets a small kickback from any sales associated with the link through. So if you click one of the side bar links or click through a book I've posted on, anything you buy on Amazon henceforth on that visit (books, electronics, toys or otherwise) will benefit Vintage Kids' Books My Kids Loves directly.
As always, I hope to at least make this site break even someday, so any way you can support is always appreciated. Know that any purchase you make on or through this site goes directly back to the purchase of books to highlight here.
Thanks for your time, and as always, thanks for reading.
