Coincidentally, I approached the editor of our local alternative weekly about doing a story on Jack Kent (as he was one of San Antonio's finest!), and all of it happened to come together and correspond with the release of the book. So without further blah blah, click here and enjoy the little ditty I wrote up for the San Antonio Current to celebrate the man's life. And if you live in the area, be sure and pick up a copy. All you children's book (and comics) fans should enjoy it. Let me know what you think!
(Tune in tomorrow for a blog post by Jack's only son Jack Jr., who's gonna share a little more on how the artist worked and lived, and stick around today for a few more book reviews!)

AWESOME! Congrats on the article! Your week inspired me to update his bibliography on Wiki some more (there were a few books missing... and there are still a few more that I know I've missed).
