I thought once my son started back at preschool I was supposed to have more time, not less? UGH!
So, to get the end of the day rolling... I am announcing the Great Monday Give, and am excited to say that although it is a well-loved and slightly triaged copy, I am offering up an old school I Am A Bunny. It may be a first edition, I don't know, but the colors here are so much more vibrant than on the reprints. One of my all-time favorite childhood reading memories. It can be yours... maybe... if you comment on this post by midnight ~ September 20th * Sunday. One reader will be selected at random and the winner announced the following day.
As for last week, that copy of Caps for Sale will be shipped off to wmmahaney as soon as they e-mail me their mailing info to webe(at)soon(dot)com. Blessed day!
Arr that is so sweet. I am glad that I found your blog, what a great idea. Interestingly enough our children adore my old books over their new ones. One book that they do adore is "the pokey little puppy" and coming in second "the shy little kitten."
ReplyDeleteDo you mind if I add you to my follow list?
Cheers Caroline
We have those funny toadstools all over Alaska. Love that book.
ReplyDeleteRichard Scarry - always a childhood favorite!
ReplyDeleteThis was my son's favorite book when he was a baby... and he ended up eating part of it because I left it on the dresser too close to his crib. What a surprise to find it in there the next day missing most of its spine.
