The Great Monday Give this week will be two-fold. Getting us back into the habit of weekly gives, and as an introduction to our posts this week by Don Freeman's son Roy. For those of you just getting here, the Give serves as a way for me to share the wealth and pass along great books I've found for a song on my thrift journeys. They are my little gifts to you for reading. So, I have a few copies of the wonderful Corduroy (Don Freeman's most beloved character) in paperback that I will be passing along to some lucky readers next week. All you have to do to be entered to win is comment on this post between now and midnight - Sunday ~ August Nine. I will randomly pick a winner and announce it the next day.
As for my Twitter contest of last week to win a $25 shopping spree in the Etsy shop? The winner is Lauren at Shooting Star Magazine, who is coincidentally having her own two-year celebration. Congrats and shoot (haha) me an e-mail to webe(at)soon(dot)com. I'm sure I'll be tweeting it as well.
So without further on and on, have a great day and check back later for our first installment of Roy Freeman's ode to his father.
