Thanks for your giveaways! I'd love a shot to get this one for my daughter.
This book looks great! Would love to add it to our home library. :)
I love these reminders of books from the library I used to visit as a child. Thanks for the memory of Garth Williams' drawings - the tender line, the hairy texture - like everything is in close-up. What's the story of Amigo?
I'll give it a go for my nephew, forgive my ignorance, but is Williams the same fellow who illustrated Charlottes Web?
Cheers,
Lisa

I love Garth Williams! I can't see his drawings without thinking of Laura Ingalls Wilder.
Garth Willaims might be my favourite illustrator, top 3 at least. Thanks for the chance.
I'm not familiar with this book, but I really like all of the Byrd Baylor books I've read. Her writing always has a lovely tone.
I loveeee Byrd Baylor! Haven't read this one yet!

I just perused your favorite authors list and was happy to see almost all of my favorites on it. And then surprised that I didn't recognize several.
I have liked Garth Williams' work ever since I read the Little House books as a child.
Haven't read B. Baylor, thanks for the new one to look for. :)
