Good morning gang. Before we all get washed away this week, I'll take a moment to announce the next Great Monday Give. How the Rabbit Stole the Moon by Louise Moeri with pictures by the famous Marc Brown. It's a nice, ex-library hardcopy... a little worn (loved) around the edges, but a great reading copy none-the-less. Plus, it is a very cool book and currently out-of-print!
All you have to do to be entered to win this free-of-charge and fabulous vintage book is leave a comment on this post between now and midnight ~ Sunday ~ September 14.
Now..... The winner of last week's Give of What Do You Say, Dear? is Bunny B. Who doesn't love a chocolate banner sista!!! Congrats and just email me your info to webe@soon.com, and I'll get it to you sometime in the next week or so once my life calms down and I have a moment to myself, oh my!

ReplyDeleteI especially adore sitting with children and those particular books that take them elsewhere. Those times when you can almost feel their imaginations flying with the story. This rabbit tale sounds such a book.
If you ever ever ever come across "Apple Pigs" by Ruth Orbach you've come across a true gem. 'tis out of print..alas alas alas!
Am as happy as a pig in mud that I've discovered here :-)
